KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Corporate Communications to join our Corporate Affairs organization.
Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute paid, earned (national focus), social, and owned media strategies that enhance and protect the reputation of the firm, as well as advance the firm's strategic priorities
- Develop and execute media strategies aligned to financial services such as asset management, private equity and banking
- Create high-impact content in support of business priorities through a variety of media, including social media, video, infographics, and written communications / byline articles
- Inform and create thought leadership to support business and media goals; build relationships with key stakeholders, including KPMG leaders in corporate functions, as well as sector leaders in the market
- Develop and maintain productive, collaborative relationships, and proactively support other team members and projects; serve as connection point on the team, and with key stakeholders to ensure awareness of programs, deliverables, and results
- Work with data and analytics to glean actionable insights and drive meaningful outcomes; act as an avid consumer of traditional news and social media, bringing external trends and case studies into communications
Qualifications
Minimum three years of recent experience working in communicationsBachelor's degree from an accredited college / universityStrong writing and project management skills; proactive team player and self-starter who exercises independent judgment and discretion; proven technical aptitude and critical thinking; knowledge of Microsoft Office and measurement toolsAbility to effectively collaborate and interact with individuals at all levels across an organization, including senior leadership; knowledge of media landscape; some knowledge of the business and competitive environmentIn-depth knowledge of and experience using internal and external communications channels including social and digital media; agency and national media outreach experience is preferredAbility to thrive, multi-task, and be flexible in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environmentApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future; KPMG LLP will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work visa status for this opportunityEmployment details
