Job Summary
This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive maintenance, calibration activities, and spare parts management to support uninterrupted production and regulatory compliance.
Job Description
Responsibilities :
Check and inspect all production machinery and engines in a unit.
Organize regular servicing and maintenance of all machinery and equipment and ensure proper functioning.
Coordinate work with the production department and ensure that all equipment and machinery are functioning to full capacity
Ensure the proper usage of maintenance tools and equipment for repairs.
Plan maintenance and service procedures in a facility.
Follow all safety regulations and norms of functioning.
Maintain records of service cycles and other maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and critical components.
Monitor stock levels and reorder parts to prevent shortages and production delays.
Identify obsolete or excess inventory and recommend disposal or repurposing.
Work with procurement to source and order parts from approved vendors.
Ensure all maintenance and calibration activities are documented per QA and GMP standards.
Required Experience :
Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Work Experience
At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance planner, mechanic or similar position.
Experience in actively participating in the work flow. Practical not just conceptual experience.
Experience in working through details of a problem, overcoming obstacles and reaching a positive and successful solution through mathematical or systematic operations.
Physical activities necessary to perform one or more essential functions of the position.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily
Frequently move, lift, carry supplies / equipment up to 50 lbs and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
Must be able to stand for minimum of 8 hours and up to 12 hours for up to 6 days a week
Ability to continuously ascend and descend from ladders and stairs, work at heights and / or from a ladder, work from a lying down position, work with your hands above your head.
Willing to operate material handling equipment (i.e. fork truck).
Write documents and reports using writing instruments and computers
Read information, often in small print (drawings)
Follow appropriate safety procedures such as Lock Out / Tag Out, Arc Flash, etc. and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment, and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards
Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed
Preferred Qualifications :
Associates or bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.

The anticipated salary range for this position :
$31.00 - $45.00 Hourly
The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
