Inpatient Unit is very unique - 1 unit, 39 beds, all specialties on this unit, 50-60% of patients have some sort of technology dependence - ages 2 weeks to 18 yrs old.

IL RN LICENSE REQUIRED IN HAND FOR SUBMISSION

Start date : ASAP

Ratios : 1 : 3-4

Years of experience REQ : 2 years

First-timers accepted : N

Weekend REQ : YES; will be scheduled EVERY OTHER WEEKEND

Certs REQ :

Valid IL RN license at time of submission (IL RN License can take up to 3 months to issue. Must have ACTIVE license in hand when submitting. Compact RN Licenses no accepted in IL)

Is on-call REQ? N

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Y

Open to accommodating block schedule? Y

Locals accepted : Y – same rate as travelers

Pending License accepted : Y

RTO Restrictions : RTO must be approved and included in the contract prior to the start date - No RTO may be added after the contract has started.

Guaranteed Hours :

36 hours for 3-12 hour shifts

48 hours for 4-12 hour shifts

40 hours for shifts less than 12 hours (8-hour and 10-hour shifts)

Special Requirements :

Vents, trach, and G tube experience required.

1 : 4 ratio experience required

Meditech experience required

Flu vaccine required - Accepts medical and religious exemptions
