Job Summary

As an experienced Kitchen Expeditor at Camp Randall, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests receive the highest quality food and beverages during game days.

You'll manage and coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to various service points, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating beverage orders, supervising a team of runners, and overseeing the seamless flow of beverages to various locations.

This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate Food Flow : Manage the timing and pacing of food orders from the kitchen to the service points, ensuring each order is complete and accurate.
  • Quality Control : Inspect each dish for accuracy, presentation, and quality before it leaves the kitchen, making any necessary adjustments.
  • Communication : Maintain constant communication with kitchen staff, servers, and runners to ensure all food is delivered to the right location at the right time.
  • Problem-Solving : Address any issues that arise, such as incorrect orders or delays, and find solutions promptly.
  • Prioritize Orders : Organize food orders based on their destination, prioritizing high-demand areas and ensuring orders reach their location on time.
  • Cleanliness : Uphold sanitation and quality standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Proven experience in a kitchen expo or food service coordination role.
  • Organization : Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
  • Detail-Oriented : A keen eye for detail to ensure food quality and order accuracy.
  • Team Player : Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Communication : Strong verbal communications skills to keep the kitchen and service staff in sync.
  • Stress Management : Ability to handle high-stress situations and make quick decisions.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Able to stand for long hours.
