This exciting opportunity will see you play a pivotal role in the financial reporting and analysis of our company's operations.
You will be responsible for preparing and presenting accurate, timely, and relevant financial information, ensuring the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
As a senior member of the team, you will also be expected to provide guidance and leadership to junior staff members and assist in their development.

Job Details
Responsibilities :
1. Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
2. Analyze and report on financial performance and trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
3. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including SOX.
4. Lead the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
5. Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
6. Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
7. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis.
8. Provide leadership and support to junior staff, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
9. Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc analysis as required.
Qualifications :
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. CPA certification is required.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, preferably within the mortgage industry.
4. In-depth knowledge of GAAP and other financial regulations and standards.
5. Proven experience with financial statement preparation and financial analysis.
6. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
9. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills.
11. Experience with financial reporting software and systems.
