Job Description
The Sr Coordinator, Retail Accounts will work closely with Retail Account Managers (AMs) to drive business at Target and Ulta by providing support across several wholesale functions including sales analysis and reporting, item management, sampling, digital marketing, in store merchandising and process document management.
Sales Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor, analyze and measure sales to provide weekly insights – at category, technology, SKU level – to share with internal teams
- Using POS trends and analysis, support AMs in developing sales forecasts
- Use data to provide recommendations for improving performance and achieving targets – e.g., post mortem analysis of promo ROIs
- Assist in preparation and presentation of regular performance reviews with retail partners and key stakeholders
- Use available insights and competitor knowledge, identify action plans to address issues or activate against new opportunities by tracking all risks and opportunities
Item Management
Coordinate with content and marketing teams to push updates for existing items PDPs and submit assets, copy, A+ content and reviews for new itemsGather accurate item information cross functionally to prepare item set up adhering to varying retailer timelinesExecute routine check ins on product page assets, copy, UGC and reviews and provide feedback and recommendations to AMs on how to improve customer experienceSampling
Manage all retail sampling needs – requires as-needed days in the Oxnard, CA office to collect and prepare samples for shipmentParter with account managers to build and adhere to sampling budgetMaintain precise records of sampling initiatives and sampling dedicated inventoryDigital Marketing
Support Account Managers in execution of digital marketing campaigns by submitting agreements, completing briefs, selecting and delivering approved assetsMaintain records of campaigns in promotional and marketing calendarsRaise awareness of upcoming campaigns to all marketing cross functional leadsPartner with account managers on a post mortem of campaigns including performance against benchmarksCollaborate with internal teams (marketing, product development, fulfillment, demand planning) to ensure alignment and execution of retail promotional strategiesIn Store Merchandising
Visit local stores and capture pictures of brand and category changes during revision and transition timingPrepare reports noting key details in revision / transition and post-reset performance
Maintain and own in store image librarySupport Account managers with maintenance of schematics and renderingsMaintain merchandising process documents and routinely share updates to distribution or schematic docs cross functionallyPartner with account managers to execute in store projects and work with vendors to gather white samples, structures and timelinesAccount admin and documentation
Create and maintain organization of sales, forecasting, pricing documents, distribution documents, promotional calendarsOccasionally support account leads in miscellaneous projects including new retailer pitches, product previews, line review / market meeting prep and special project timeline management.Occasionally support liquidation channel by creating line sheets, coordinating inventory counts, etc.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing or related field2-3 years as an Account Coordinator, Sales Analyst or Merchandise PlannerStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trendsAdvanced Excel skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to present data in visual manner with clear “so whats”Target and / or Ulta experience will be highly valuableAbility to be in Sherman Oaks office 3x / weekThe budget for this position is up to $80K annually DOE + discretionary annual bonus.
