Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Sourcing Manager for Home Textiles to join our dynamic team. The Sourcing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies to ensure the timely procurement of quality goods at a competitive cost. There will be a heavy focus on supplier relationships, driving cost-saving initiatives, and quality assurance compliance. In this role, you will play a critical role in managing the end-to-end sourcing process and supporting the development, production, and delivery of our products. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent negotiation skills, and experience working with global suppliers in Home Textiles.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to drive operational efficiency and cost savings for the company. Sourcing and understanding prices from new countries and opening those channels.
• Own and manage all price grids and updated best costing by category
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers / vendors based on criteria such as quality, reliability, cost, and delivery performance.
• Manage supplier relationships and maintain open communication to ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues to deliver high-quality production of products.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to optimize value, innovation, quality, reliability, and compliance
• Negotiate and maintain pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers and communicate these details clearly with cross functional teams. Ability to resource when needed.
• Conduct regular supplier assessments and performance reviews to ensure compliance with company standards and drive continuous improvement
• Analyze detailed cost breakdowns to identify savings opportunities and recommend sourcing alternatives. Out of the box thinker on creative cost effective ideas to improve value and margin.
• Continuously strive to improve sourcing and production processes to increase efficiency, improve lead times and reduce costs.
• Drive cost optimization without compromising quality or delivery timelines.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities, contracts, pricing agreements, and supplier information using appropriate software tools and systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., product development, sales, buying) to understand ever-changing customer needs in order to help strength supplier matrix and cost negotiations.
• Continuous competitive shopping to be highly proficient in the market retail landscape
• Travel as needed both domestically and internationally
• Facilitate vendor meetings to review in-season development, production & delivery challenges.
• Identify potential business risk as well as opportunities for improvement, escalating where necessary and offering suggestions to address.
