Job description

Overview

The main function of this controls engineering position is to lead the integration, installation, and debugging of automation equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead automation project that will involve (but are not limited to) : Collaborative Robotics; Vision Systems; Autonomous Mobile Vehicles; Other Automated Technologies
  • Lead controls integration of new automation devices into existing systems utilizing : PLCs; HMIs; Plant Floor Systems; Facilities Equipment; Etc
  • Lead the installation, debug, and start-up of automated equipment
  • Lead the safety review and buy off process for automated equipment
  • Provide technical support and training to on-site employees as part of new installations
  • Support offsite equipment builds by attending reviews / buy-offs at equipment integrators
  • Expect less than 10% travel

Skills

  • Proficient with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software
  • PLC
  • Experience with Safety Code
  • Proficient with robotics
  • Fanuc CRX experience
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Proficient with Vision Systems
  • Sick
  • Keyance
  • Matrox
  • Familiar with basic electrical standards
  • Familiar with robotic safety standards / systems
  • DCS
  • Proficient in leading project teams

    • Education / Experience

  • Bachelor\'s Degree in a Technical Field
  • 5-7 Years of Experience Required
  • Direct experience with integrating, installing, and / or debugging new robotic systems
