About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

Shift : 7pm-7am

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery, cervical exams, and fetal monitor interpretation

License : Indiana RN License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP required

Must-Have :

Minimum 2 years experience in Labor & Delivery.

Cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretation skills.

Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP.

Indiana RN License.

Description :

The position involves care of laboring, pre-term, and postpartum OB patients as well as newborns.

Duties include vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitation.

The unit utilizes EPIC documentation, Pyxis medication management, Hospira IV pumps, and GE Corometric fetal monitoring.

Mandatory attendance is required for all scheduled orientation days.

Candidates must be prepared to work weekends and may be required to float to other units, if necessary.
