Trident Consulting is seeking a " Welder IV" for one of our client in Houston, TX . A global leader in business and technology services.

Pay rate : $20.00 / hr - $25.00 / hr on w2

Schedule : Monday–Friday (40 hours / week)

Duration : 12+ Months

Description :

• The Welder will be required to carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality, and work on his / her own initiative to meet the production schedule of the plant.
• The role will require the ability to weld many different types of components related to Gas and Steam turbine repairs. This position may be required to flex between first and second shift as needed.
• As a Welder, you will be responsible for :
• Performing visual and in-process inspections in accordance with API and ISO quality specifications
• Reading and understanding engineering drawings & specifications.
• Overlay of components using Tig & MiG per weld procedures.
• Setting up and welding components within the parameters of the specific weld procedure.
• Detailing grinding of components after weld repairs
• Adhering to Company Safety and Environmental policies Qualifications / Requirements
• Adhering to Company quality procedures.
