About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : General

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 5x8 (06 : 00 - 14 : 30)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of OB, Breast, Vascular, and Abdomen imaging experience required.

License : Licensure will consider candidates with pending certifications.

Certifications : ARDMS, BLS, additional ARDMS certifications preferred.

Must-Have : OB experience required, first-time travelers accepted.

Description :

The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations.

Experience in obstetric, breast, vascular, and abdomen imaging is mandatory.

Candidates must possess ARDMS certification and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

The technologist will collaborate with medical staff to provide quality patient care.

Must be willing to take call and float as needed.

An understanding of various ultrasound protocols and techniques is essential.

Candidates must have a minimum of two references from managers or charge nurses within the past two years.

Candidates must have experience with charting systems, specifically Cerner.

The position involves interaction with patients across various age groups including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Daily census ranges from 30 to 45 patients.

This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to patient care.
