Northrop Grumman Microelectronics Center (NGMC) within Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an exceptionally talented, motivated, and creative Line Maintenance Manager 1 for our Advanced Technology Lab (ATL) located in Linthicum, MD in the Baltimore area where we design, manufacture, and test semiconductor products for internal and commercial production customers as well as emerging technology programs.

Our multidisciplinary foundry team enables activities spanning from development to sustainment process engineering. ATL is responsible for all aspects of semiconductor technology including design, mask making, wafer fabrication, test, and assembly.

What You'll Get To Do :

• Primarily manage union represented Semiconductor Equipment Technicians across multiple shifts and will be responsible for directing, planning, and managing the work of those technicians.
• Establish appropriate factory metrics goals, and coordinate with other managers, including Equipment Engineering and Operations on utilizing resources and setting priorities on Preventive Maintenance, tactical tool recoveries, down equipment troubleshooting.
• Develop and support strategic tool availability efforts with groups like Process Engineering, Process Integration and special projects teams.
• Support shift staffing, employee tasking, budget oversight, and program / maintenance interface activities.
• Hire, on-board, conduct personnel performance assessments, time charging approval, and employee development.

This position offers an attractive 9 / 80 work schedule (contingent upon business needs); you'll enjoy working nine-hour days from Monday to Thursday, giving you the rewarding benefit of every other Friday off! This arrangement facilitates extended weekends for a better work-life balance.

Primary Level Salary Range : $112,600.00 - $169,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
