I am looking for a Legal Secretary to streamline the day-to-day functions of an experienced lawyer. You will be responsible for scheduling meetings and appointments, setting deadline reminders, and providing general administrative and reception support in the office. We also expect you to be familiar with drafting and formatting legal documents and other correspondence, such as engagement letters and motions.

Hours for the position are flexible - 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and respond to general emails
• Prepare legal documents such as appeals, complaints, discovery requests, motions, pretrial agreements, subpoenas, and summonses
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail
• Maintain organized files, including copies of all documents and correspondence
• Manage invoices and expenditures
