Manufacturing Engineer

Fastenal Company, a leading global distributor of industrial and construction supplies since 1967, is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. As a key player in our operational strategy, this role involves improving manufacturing processes to increase efficiency, reduce cost, and ensure product quality. The ideal candidate will be adept at designing and implementing best practices, utilizing state-of-the-art technology and methodologies to enhance our production lines across retail locations worldwide. Analyze and improve existing manufacturing processes to increase productivity and reduce wastage. Implement new technology and equipment and ensure seamless integration into current processes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine product designs for manufacturability. Troubleshoot issues related to manufacturing that affect production schedules and output. Design, test, and coordinate the implementation of manufacturing systems or related processes. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for upgrades to equipment and processes. Maintain compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies. Assist in training manufacturing staff on new technologies and methods.
