Local Contract Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $68-70 per hour

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Anchorage, Alaska. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : OR - Operating Room Discipline : RN Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Local Contract Number of Beds - 11 ORs Shift for this position - Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible) Call Expectation - Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period) Number of Staff - Varies depending on day Type of staff : Day Shift - Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techs Night Shift - One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backup Patient Ratios - 1 : 1 Type of equipment - Variety of OR beds and equipment EMR - Epic Typical Procedures : Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General), Very little ENT / Dental / Eyes / Plastics Must be able to be a patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile field Prefer scrub, circulator, CNOR experience Requires : - An ASN degree minimum - A recent 12 months of OR RN experience in an acute hospital setting - AK RN License - ACLS and BLS Certifications About HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA At HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, healthcare is not just about the four walls of a facility but about the people who provide and receive care.
