About the Role

All Systems Electrical, Inc. is seeking an AutoCAD Electrical Designer / Control Panel Drafter experienced in creating detailed UL508A industrial control panel drawings and documentation. This role focuses on producing accurate layouts, wiring schematics, and bills of materials for manufacturing — not programming or software development.

You’ll work on-site in our Rocklin office, collaborating closely with engineers, production, and purchasing to ensure every panel design is code-compliant, build-ready, and clearly documented.

Key Responsibilities

Create control panel layouts and wiring schematics using AutoCAD Electrical

Design in accordance with UL508A, NEC, and customer specifications

Interpret one-lines, P&IDs, and other engineering documents

Specify components and generate bills of materials

Coordinate with production and purchasing to maintain design accuracy and cost-effectiveness

Revise drawings based on feedback from customers or internal teams

What You Bring

3+ years of experience in AutoCAD Electrical drafting or industrial control panel design

Strong understanding of UL508A and NEC standards

Familiarity with components such as breakers, relays, terminal blocks, PLC hardware, and VFDs

Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an office / shop environment

Must be based near Rocklin, CA and available to work on-site

$35–$50 / hour, depending on experience
