Our client is seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join their dynamic quality and product development team. This role offers the chance to work hands-on in a fast-paced laboratory environment, supporting testing and analysis for innovative cosmetic products. Pay : Up to $25 / hr

Shift : 6 : 30-3 : 00pm

Key Responsibilities

Perform physical testing on in-process, bulk, stability, and finished product samples, including water content (KF titrator), water activity, melting point, viscosity, pH, specific gravity, and density.

Coordinate stability studies in collaboration with Chemists.

Follow GMP and all regulatory requirements, including FDA standards.

Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments and prepare volumetric solutions as needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and retain reference samples per company policies.

Uphold lab safety standards and ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste.

Keep workstations organized and equipment clean to support efficient workflow.

Perform additional duties as needed to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications

High school diploma or associate degree required.

Minimum of 2 years of laboratory experience, ideally in cosmetics or a related industry.

Hands-on experience with physical testing methods such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under strict deadlines.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willing to learn proprietary data systems.

Ability to perform algebraic calculations and interpret scientific data accurately.
