Position Summary
As a Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial and industrial accounts within a defined territory. Youll promote ABMs Onsite Facility Servicesincluding Cleaning Environmental Parking and Engineeringby crafting tailored solutions that address client needs and drive value.
This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can collaborate with operations teams lead the sales process and maintain strong client partnerships while cross-selling ABMs full suite of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to grow territory revenue.
- Prospect new business through cold calling networking and lead generation.
- Create and present customized proposals using ABM-branded materials.
- Conduct facility walk-throughs and assess current service programs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure strategic and financial alignment.
- Negotiate contracts and manage client transitions to operations.
- Build a strong network of industry contacts community partners and prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage assigned budget.
- Support marketing campaigns and monitor competitive landscape.
- Provide training and share competitive intelligence as needed.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.Experience :
5 years of service sales experience with a focus on cold calling and lead generation.Experience in facility services janitorial commercial real estate or related fields preferred.Proven ability to write and present compelling proposals.Experience pricing labor within proposals is a plus.Skills & Attributes :
