Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer

Selectek is partnering with a firm in Nashville, TN to hire a Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer on a direct hire basis. Candidates will oversee the design, development, and implementation of plumbing systems for various project types.

Expected Pay Range : $50,000-$75,000 annual salary, depending on experience and certification

Location : Nashville, TN Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00a - 5 : 00p

Job Duties :

• Responsibilities include production of plumbing and fire protection system designs, multi-discipline coordination, client interaction and construction administration.
• Provide support to senior designers and engineers on an as-requested basis.
• Independently perform technical drafting and design in REVIT and AutoCAD as assigned.
• Complete projects from start to finish including floor plans, details, schedules and specifications within the allotted time schedule as required to meet project deadlines.
• Review the work of Design Level I individuals and assist with training and mentoring of junior staff.
• Perform a variety of related office or field tasks to gather, tabulate, calculate, analyze, interpret, and record data as needed for completion of construction documents and reports related to projects independently.
• Perform related duties as assigned to include complete and thorough review of completed work prior to review by senior staff and submission to client.
• Visit project sites and attend meetings as required to document site conditions, gather information as needed and to serve as a representative for the company.
