As a Spatial Data Management Specialist, you will operate as a subject matter technical specialist on Spatial Data Management Program (SDM), electronic Spatial Management and Reporting Tool (eSMART) and address a wide range of questions about data management.
Location of position : Public Buildings Service, Portfolio Management Division, in Region 7.

The GS-12 salary range starts at $82,830 per year and varies by location.
If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.
To qualify for the GS-12, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or higher in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience creating, analyzing, maintaining and modifying drawings using the Automated Computer Aided Design (AutoCAD) Map 3D software; verifying accuracy of spatial data for buildings and building features; and analyzing and creating reports to track progress of construction projects. This experience must include applying qualitative and / or quantitative methods for assessing or improving spatial data management (SDM) and providing training and / or presentations on the status of contractor accomplishments.
