Project Cost Analyst - Advanced Manufacturing

This is a full time position, initially supporting a long-term project based in Abilene, Texas. We offer either project relocation to the project (and back to home of origin) or a per diem package for working onsite at the project location, per IRS guidelines.
Responsibilities
Forecast revenue, operating expenses, and capital expenditures on the project Analyze financial anomalies and provide insights to leadership Participate in our compliance programs including, regulations and accounting policies Leads and presents project forecast reviews, utilizes historical and trending data to validate forecast, and follows Company standards for cost and revenue reporting, interacting with Kiewit teams, client teams and subcontracting teams at all levels. Able to present data effectively through financial models, reports and dashboards as needed. Shows eagerness to learn the ins and outs of the field operations to better understand and communicate financial reports and data Supports Operations team with decision making by identifying, quantifying, and communicating financial risks and opportunities Prepares client invoicing, manages accounts receivable and revenue, and reviews project cash flow projection on a monthly basis Reviews and understands prime contract and change orders, including insurance, taxes, payment terms, and labor laws Follows and implements proper internal controls, and acts as main point of contact for any internal or external financial audits Drives continuous improvement throughout the organization and is a proponent for positive change Earns trust, credibility, and buy in of processes from Operations team to create better cohesion and clear communication within the organization Displays first-rate customer service skills - willing to help with a positive attitude when / where needed, and be helped with gratitude.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, and / or an equivalent degree is required A minimum of 5 years of financial / data analysis or public accounting experience supporting construction projects, performing the following : financial analysis of revenue, costs, budgets, reporting, cash flow projections, variance analysis, forecasting of financial trends on the project, monthly cost reporting, development of budgets, implementing financial controls on industrial projects and ability to present data to technical and leadership teams, contract negotiations, commercial risk assessment for the project. Experience in financial analysis / controls on Data Center or large scale EPC projects is preferred Proven track record managing budgets for construction of industrial facilities, ideally, data centers or similar hyperscale projects; Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, proficiency with cost management and related software, data analysis and dashboard reporting Effective communication (both oral and written), organization, and interpersonal skills, ability to engage with stakeholders and effectively communicate at all levels Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to balance multiple tasks and responsibilities High level of professionalism and standards Must be able to freely access all parts of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments Travel daily to and / or relocation to your assigned project, for duration of project. Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future Certified Cost Professoinal (CCP), Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or PMP certifications preferred
