About this role :

We are looking for a Service Electrician to handle a variety of residential electrical tasks. In this role, you will troubleshoot, install, and repair electrical systems while ensuring compliance with safety standards and codes. You will diagnose issues, perform necessary repairs or replacements, and communicate effectively with homeowners to explain problems and solutions. Strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service are key to succeeding in this position.

In this role, you will be responsible for :

• Performing residential service work by diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems, identifying issues, and executing repairs to restore functionality.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including wiring, outlets, switches, and circuit breakers, to ensure reliable operation.
• Effectively communicating with customers to explain electrical problems, present repair or replacement options, and provide clear recommendations based on their needs.
• Handling physical demands of the job, such as pushing, pulling, climbing ladders, crawling into tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects safely.
• Performing basic wiring tasks, including installing disconnects, whips, branch circuits, breakers, and other electrical accessories, ensuring proper connections and functionality.
• Utilizing a thorough knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials commonly used in the electrical trade, including their proper handling and maintenance.
• Applying knowledge of electrical codes and regulations to ensure all work is compliant with local, state, and national standards, and to maintain safety on the job site.
• Additional duties as assigned.
