Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial, multifamily, and retail construction projects
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to determine project scope
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing
- Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and potential challenges
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare and present bid proposals to clients and stakeholders
- Monitor project costs and update estimates throughout the construction process
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on commercial, multifamily, and retail projectsProficiency in estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Procore, Timberline)Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standardsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsOutstanding communication and interpersonal abilitiesAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesValid driver\'s license and willingness to travel to job sites as neededBenefits
