We are seeking reliable, compassionate, and committed Dedicated Aides to support individual students both academically and socially. Dedicated Aides work under the guidance of special education teachers and service providers to promote student success across the school day.Key Responsibilities : Reinforce academic, behavioral, and social-emotional strategies.Provide one-to-one or small-group support during instruction, transitions, and breaks.Assist students with accessing the curriculum, reinforcing concepts, and completing assignments.Reinforce classroom expectations to maintain a safe, inclusive, and emotionally responsive classroom.Implement Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) to support emotional regulation, if neededBuild and maintain positive, professional relationships with all educational stakeholders to include students, school staff, families, and community partners.Maintain confidentiality of student information.Document progress and collaborate with instructional teams.Encourage the development of self-advocacy, social skills, and independence.Support students during community outings and life skills activities.Carry out behavioral strategies, including crisis intervention in keeping with policies and procedures and regulations governing private special education day schoolsQualifications : High school diploma (Associates or Bachelor's preferred)Experience working with youth or students with disabilities (preferred)Strong communication and patienceAbility to model calm, respectful, and consistent behavior
