Senior Electrical Estimator

Location : Charlotte, NCJob Description :

The Senior Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves reviewing project specifications, plans, and other documentation to determine the scope of work and required materials, labor, and equipment. The Senior Electrical Estimator will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that estimates are comprehensive and reflect the project's requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to manage and review subcontractors' and vendors' bids, proposals, and Bills of Materials.

Knowledgeable with construction documents, including the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Basic understanding of the construction process.

Knowledge of MS Office Programs and general computer knowledge.

Experience working with estimating software programs.

Knowledge of electrical design and engineering.

Ability to provide layout and design of electrical systems and associated cost.

Ability to take direction and complete tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Education and Qualifications

Education : Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, Business Management, or equivalent work experience.

Experience : Seven (7) years of operational experience in estimating, with at least four (4) years of estimating large projects, and electrical trade experience.
