Early Intervention Specialist - Therapeutic

HOURLY PAY : $20.20 to $22.84 / hour plus mileage reimbursement

Positions start as part-time hours (about 20-25 per week); potential to build up to full-time hours

Coverage area includes :

• We try to match specialists to cases closest to their home address

Riverside

Redlands

San Bernardino

Jurupa Valley

Corona - currently only need staff who are either Bilingual-Spanish or Bilingual-Mandarin Chinese in this area

Moreno Valley

Raising a child with a developmental disability is a journey that takes knowledge, love, patience, and support. You will be part of a team that provides in-home early intervention specialized services for infants and toddlers where they can naturally learn and develop.

Plan, schedule and provide weekly early educational in-home services for a caseload of infant / toddlers with disabilities including developmental delays and programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.

Administer and document all program assessments and updates accurately to meet timelines.

Design, implement, and adapt activities for language, cognitive, fine and gross motor, sensory, self-help, and social / emotional development, for each individual child, utilizing best practices.

Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting, child development, and provide parents with written weekly activities and effective coaching.

Monitor, document, and share the child’s progress with the family and team.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree required

May be able to count years of experience working with children in place of Bachelor's degree.

Some coursework in Early Childhood education or Human Development is highly desired

One year experience working with infants or young children and their parents / guardians

Valid CA driver’s license in good standing; also must have been licensed driver for at least one year (in any US state)

Access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Effective communication skills to manage relationships acompassionate approach and a commitment to quality in everything you do

Flexible availability that may include daytime as well as some evening and some weekend meeting times.
