Maintenance Technician

Night Shift : 7 PM - 7 AM; 2-2-3 Schedule

Pay : $30 per Hour

Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is responsible to set-up, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety and productive maintenance systems and processes. This includes both PM and repairs of production equipment during production and performing scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude and knowledge of power transmission equipment, bearings, gears, sprockets, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems and pumps.
• Assist all departments with equipment breakdowns.
• Perform basic facilities maintenance activities.
• Use a voltmeter, welder, and basic hand tools; check and replace fuses, motor starters, relays, pumps, motors, and AC-DC systems; and troubleshoot faulty electric circuits.
• Assist the general maintenance crew with equipment rebuilds, plant shutdowns, and new equipment installations.

Additional Information

Initial training occurs on the day shift (7 am-3 : 30 pm, Monday to Friday) for the first 60-90 days . The regular schedule is a night shift from 7 pm to 7 am on a 2-2-3 schedule. Candidates must be willing to submit to a pre-employment drug and bac ckground check.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00 / hr.
