General Laborer

Position Summary :

The General Laborer will support metal fabrication operations with precise part prep, basic equipment operation, in-process inspection, and material flow. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to follow written specifications in a fast, clean, and organized environment.

Essential Functions :

Equipment Operation : Safely operate basic shop equipment and hand tools.

Inspection : Visually inspect parts for defects (cracks, pits, incomplete welds) and report issues.

Material Flow : Move and stage product to the correct areas with accurate identification.

Quality & Safety : Work to established quality standards; follow all safety procedures and housekeeping (5S) practices.

Coordination : Prioritize tasks and communicate with management; support teammates as needed.

Other Duties : Perform other duties as assigned.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle or feel and occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
