Key Responsibilities include :
- Sourcing new ingredients , developing compounding strategies for various recipes
- Mixing, sheeting, and molding batches for material development and customer samples
- Developing novel formulations and mixing techniques
- Testing your formulations to rapidly guide your material development efforts
- Translating vague and general customer requirements into engineering specifications
Minimum Qualifications include :
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Rubber Technology or a relevant field of study
- Advanced degree preferred
- Experience with polymer compounding and development
- An eye toward morphology and mechanical properties
