Job Title

Entry Level Position for Patrol Support Unit

Job Summary

Entry level position that reports to the Patrol Support Unit Supervisor. Responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with traffic and crowd control, parking control and enforcement, school crossing assistance, citation issuance, service complaints, animal control, lockout / assist motorist, clerical / municipal court duties, locking park comfort stations (seasonal), squad portering and a variety of other Police Department activities.

Job Duties

Administrative

• Courier assignments for the Police Department and as otherwise assigned.
• Filing, recording, copying, records research and other clerical tasks associated with the Police Department and Municipal Court.
• Submission of police reports, call records, citations, related investigative documents, special reports and other forms associated with patrol support function.
• Ensure a ready supply of often used forms and documents in officer work areas.
• Facilitate the intake of Municipal Court appearances during court hours.
