Product Marketing Manager

We're looking for a strategic, customer-focused Product Marketing Manager to establish our Product Marketing function from the ground up. As our first PMM, you'll shape how we position the Highlight platform, define our customer value story, and build scalable go-to-market strategies that drive adoption and growth. You'll partner cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing to create messaging frameworks, playbooks, and collateral that set our team up for long-term success. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to build both strategy and execution muscle from market positioning and launch strategy to hands-on content creation and enablement. You'll report directly to our CEO & Founder, work in close partnership with our CRO and GTM leadership team, and influence the company's overall GTM strategy. Your Impact
Go-to-Market Strategy : Lead product launches and feature releases from planning to execution while defining and continuously optimizing positioning, messaging, target audiences and ICPs, and launch plans.
Market & Customer Insights : Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews, alongside collating internal feedback and learnings, to deeply understand buyer needs and inform product direction.
Positioning & Messaging : Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks that resonate with target segments and differentiate us from competitors.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Collaboration : Partner with executive leadership, as well as Product Managers, Content and Event Marketing teammates, and Sales leadership to align roadmaps, craft messaging, enable teams, and measure impact.
Sales, Customer, and Company Enablement : Partner with revenue and whole company teams to create collateral such as pitch decks, one-pagers, battle cards, case studies, to deliver training that equips them to communicate value effectively.
Content Development : Collaborate with other marketing team members to produce content that drives demand (blogs, webinars, thought leadership, product demos) as well as sales assets, enablement materials, and related collateral.
Community Growth Partnership : Collaborate with our Community Growth team and cross-functional partners to collaboratively grow our Highlighter community while maintaining quality standards.
Metrics & Impact : Define success metrics for launches and campaigns, track performance, and continuously refine strategies for better outcomes
About You
Experience : 7+ years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or related roles at a B2B SaaS company.
Skills : Eagerness to be both hands-on doer and creative in using limited resources to have a huge impact, while also being able to craft high-level narratives and storytelling with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Passion : Excitement about our problem space, opportunity area, and the customer / market we are serving.
Execution : Proven track record in go-to-market execution for new products / features, with the ability to translate technical features into customer value.
Collaboration : Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, sales, and customer success teams, ideally at a sales-led organization.
Analysis : Strong analytical skills; comfortable using data to inform decisions.
Ownership : Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, high ownership environment.

Compensation : Based on previous experience and skillset, the starting base salary for this position is $135,000 - $170,000
