Lantern is seeking a Staff Software Engineer (Architecture) to join our expanding Architecture team. This is a strategic and evident role focused on driving architectural consistency, elevating technical standards, and helping scale our cloud-native healthcare platform to meet the needs of patients, care advocates, and enterprise clients.

As a Staff Engineer, you'll partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering leads, product managers, clinicians, and compliance—to influence the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable systems. You will provide hands-on technical leadership across the stack while guiding engineering teams through complex architectural decisions, platform evolution, and modernization initiatives.

We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, can zoom out to evaluate systems holistically, but is not afraid to dive into code to unblock teams or lead by example. If you enjoy solving complex system design problems, mentoring other engineers, and enabling organizational scale through thoughtful architecture, we'd love to hear from you.
