Sales Account Executive

A well-established produce grower / shipper / packer is searching for a Sales Account Executive to join their team in Los Angeles. The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for managing assigned accounts while representing our clients' unique values and providing exemplary customer service. In the broader role the Sales Account Executive will foster long-term relationships that support the growth of the overall business. Ongoing and daily tasks include entering orders, negotiating pricing, working cross functionally with internal departments to ensure fulfillment of customer needs, developing new business opportunities, and implement other assigned projects as communicated by manager.

Responsibilities & Duties :

• Responsible for meeting established sales goals with an assigned portfolio of accounts.
• Manage customer daily orders through delivery.
• Monitor logistics of customers to ensure final delivery.
• Negotiate pricing, credits and ad opportunities.
• Identify and present new opportunities with existing and new customers.
• Keep abreast of market and commodity trends.
• Willingness to approach prospective clients through cold calling.
• Work cross functionally with supply chain team on contract opportunities.
• Collaborate with the accounting department to support reconciles on accounts.
• Travel for customer visits.
• Attend and actively participate in trade shows; execute follow-up.
• Collaborate with the team to produce reports for upper management.
• Perform all duties and responsibilities in a professional and respective manner, in accordance with company policies.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned to by manager.
• Support the day-to-day operation of the sales team, as needed.

Qualifications :

Compensation : 85K-125K, Commission, Bonus, Medical Benefits, 401K
