Ecommerce Director (Amazon Growth Focus)

Location : Caldwell, NJ (Hybrid : 3+ days onsite)

Our client, a fast-growing supplement and wellness brand portfolio, is seeking a highly strategic and hands-on Ecommerce Director to spearhead exponential growth across Amazon and broader digital commerce channels . This role is pivotal in scaling revenue, improving profitability, and shaping the brand’s digital future in one of the most competitive consumer categories.

Key Responsibilities

Amazon & Ecommerce Growth Leadership

  • Own and drive Amazon growth strategy across multiple brands, optimizing for sales velocity, share of voice, and long-term brand health.
  • Lead daily oversight of all digital commerce channels, including Amazon, Shopify / DTC, eMail, SMS, and paid digital media.
  • Develop playbooks for growth acceleration across platforms with a heavy focus on Amazon advertising, content optimization, and merchandising.

Performance & Growth Strategy

  • Oversee paid media and growth marketing strategy across Amazon Ads, Meta, Google, TikTok , and emerging platforms.
  • Continuously monitor campaign performance against ROAS, CAC, and LTV goals , making real-time budget reallocation and optimization decisions.
  • Leverage deep analytics to uncover growth opportunities, identify underperforming segments, and implement funnel optimizations (traffic, conversion, retention).
  • Lead A / B testing, cohort analysis, and churn reduction strategies for subscription and repeat purchase models.

    • Content, Brand & Product Integration

  • Partner with creative, content, and brand marketing to develop campaigns that align with consumer insights and competitive differentiation.
  • Ensure product launches, promotions, and campaigns are executed flawlessly with inventory alignment, demand forecasting, and supply chain collaboration .
  • Champion Amazon and ecommerce best practices in product detail pages, enhanced content, ratings / reviews, and brand storefronts.

    • Financial & Business Impact

  • Own eCommerce and Amazon P&L responsibility , ensuring profitable growth in alignment with company KPIs.
  • Provide senior leadership with clear, data-driven reporting on performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Anticipate market shifts and make proactive recommendations to keep the portfolio ahead of competitors.

    • Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 7+ years of experience driving ecommerce growth within health, wellness, or CPG industries, with direct Amazon expertise .
  • Proven track record of scaling brands in competitive categories, ideally with supplements, vitamins, or functional wellness products.
  • Hands-on operator with strong analytical rigor and the ability to turn insights into immediate action.
  • Strategic thinker who can balance long-term brand building with short-term performance wins.
  • Experienced leader comfortable managing cross-functional partners, agencies, and executive stakeholders.
