Database Engineer
Job Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain the middleman and master databases to facilitate efficient data flow and integration.
- Work closely with Salesforce and Deltek APIs to extract, transform, and load data into the databases.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Implement data quality measures and validation processes to uphold data integrity.
- Optimize database performance and scalability to accommodate growing data volumes.
- Develop and execute data migration strategies to transition legacy data into the new databases.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in database management and integration.
Technical Skills :
- Proficiency in database design and development, with experience in building relational databases.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and Deltek platforms, including knowledge of their APIs and data structures.
- Demonstrated expertise in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
Preferred Skills :
- Experience in UI / UX design principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, preferred not required.
- Proven experience in database engineering or related roles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
