Roles & Responsibilities
Drive execution of cost-out projects to actualize real savings
Identify cost out-projects / areas of opportunities through design optimization, identify bottle neck processes in plant through Gemba walk by collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, program management, sourcing and service teams
Perform extensive data dives on EBOM Vs MBOM Vs ABOM to identify gaps in processes
Analyze current design / process, produce and present technical feasibility report, recommend alternate concepts, create value story / ROI
Input collection, project execution, toll gate reviews, support project actualization and query resolution
Lead and support cost-out project technical review meetings.
Ability to interpret with minimal available details
Required Skills (Technical Competency)
Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical / production / electrical) or Operations Management from an accredited college or university
Minimum of 2 years of cost out experience in a manufacturing environment (Sheet metal / fabrication / Welding / Assembly processes)
Strong understanding of supply chain and shop operations
Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders
Effective communication and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and conflict resolution skills
Siemens NX and TCE experience- Desired
LEAN certification Desired
Expertise in MS office
Physical Requirements
Ability to work in and around a heavy manufacturing facility
Prolonged standing and walking
Walking on slippery or uneven surfaces
Pay Range : $50,000-$90,000 per year
Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.
