Project Manager
The Project Manager is responsible for the entire life cycle of a project from inception through closure. Ensure the project is delivered safely in accordance with the company's budgetary, schedule-driven, and quality parameters while exceeding the customer's expectations.
Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and secure work environment, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, conducting and documenting operational project meetings, negotiating and preparing vendor and subcontractor agreements, evaluating submittals, coordinating quality assurance, managing project scope, performing financial setup, conducting monthly project cost reviews, managing accounts receivables and payables, obtaining and coordinating appropriate lien waivers, state notifications, tax documentation, and permits, ensuring budget and scope alignment, building and maintaining strong relations, monitoring risk management items, managing close-out documents, managing warranty work, coordinating start-up and commissioning processes, and influencing outcomes by being resourceful and maintaining focus on safety, field and financial performance, and client expectations.
Qualifications required include 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and / or project management, mechanical construction, or facilities management, strong analytical, organizational, and planning skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of construction technologies, scheduling, equipment, materials and methods, and financial management, effective presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, leadership skills, and the willingness to address challenges, resolve issues, and motivate others while maintaining relationships.
Preferred qualifications include a Construction Management or related technical degree.
Travel requirements include up to 80% of time spent traveling to job site(s) / office location.
Physical activities include climbing stairs, remaining in a stationary position, repeating motions, moving about to accomplish tasks, and ascending and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles.
Environmental conditions include a noisy environment and outdoor elements such as precipitation and wind.
Physical demands include light work that includes adjusting and / or moving objects up to 20 pounds.
Pay range is USD $76,860.00 - USD $102,620.00 / Yr.
