Cash Applications Associate

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cash Applications Associate to join their team. As a Cash Applications Associate, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Cash Management team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job? + Timely and accurate daily application of cash receipts received through the lockbox and bank accounts + Access and upload electronic deposit files to the Datatech, cSap, and Vantage systems + Identify proper client and GL codes for payment application + Act as a backup for cash application support during department personnel absences + Conduct research and audits related to cash receipts and reconcile daily OTC deposits against recorded cash entries

What's Needed? + High School Diploma or equivalent; some college finance or accounting courses are helpful + Experience in cash application within a corporate or high-volume environment preferred + Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and 10-key operations + Ability to collaborate effectively with internal departments and teams + Excellent written and verbal communication skills
