About the Commercial Director, Dynamic Revenue Plus role...
Dynamic Revenue Plus is the future for hotel Smart Distribution is the latest commercial program launched at SiteMinder.
The Director, DR+ will join the Operations team and the Senior Leadership Team of the company to continue building the program, while executing a pipeline of cross-functional and inter-business initiatives to deliver commercial outcomes.
The Director will need to work closely with multiple internal (SiteMinder) teams to drive key outcomes. This will require an individual who is analytical, persuasive and driven, and capable of operating at a strategic and tactical level. In working with peers across a large portfolio of products, this person is a leader with exceptional influencing skills who can engage and coordinate cross-functional resources and drive commercial outcomes aligned to strategy (without direct line authority). You will be part of a tightly knit team, and work with colleagues globally to help define new initiatives and deliver frictionless customer experiences as we grow and scale.
This role will be integral in delivering high priority strategic projects and analysis across SiteMinder. Working with senior management, this role will apply structured thinking to critical business questions, run deep analyses, generate insights and develop strategic initiatives and projects to improve operations.
What you'll do...
Own business prioritisation and P&L for the new and growing Smart Distribution Program at SiteMinder
Work with internal stakeholders and leaders across functions (Sales, Marketing, Customer, Product, Ecosystem) to design and implement initiatives aligned to shared program and partner goals, including Acquisition, Optimisation, and Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with Product and Engineering Directors on future product initiatives and roadmaps to enhance our customers opportunities to grow their revenue through their SiteMinder connectivity
Continue to develop the program operational cadences, reporting, and regularly update the Executive Leadership team on commercial and operational progress.
Commercial Performance Management : Establish and monitor key commercial KPIs including ARR growth, product attach rates, revenue per account, and margin contribution, with monthly reporting to ELT and board-level updates
Product Adoption Monitoring & Optimization : Monitor and track feature usage, customer engagement metrics, and value realization milestones
Sales Enablement Program : Contribute to design and delivery comprehensive sales enablement materials including battle cards, ROI calculators, demo scripts, and certification programs; conduct quarterly training sessions for global sales teams
Sales Performance Analytics : Monitor sales performance and systems tracking conversion rates, deal velocity, win / loss analysis, and competitive displacement metrics across all sales channels
Lead Generation Partnership : Partner with Marketing to develop qualified lead generation campaigns, including target account strategies, vertical-specific messaging, and conversion optimization programs
Customer Success Lifecycle Management : Design customer journey maps and implement lifecycle stage monitoring from onboarding through expansion, including health scoring, churn prediction models, and proactive intervention playbooks
Strategic Partnership Development : Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic technology and channel partnerships that accelerate DR+ distribution and enhance product capabilities
Revenue Optimization Playbooks : Develop and deploy customer optimization playbooks that drive incremental revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and usage expansion strategies
What you have...
Extensive experience experience in management consulting, business operations, product management, or commercial / revenue roles - preferably in a software environment, with years operating at a senior individual contributor or leadership level
Extensive experience in management consulting, start-ups, business management, product management, or revenue generation.
Experience in hospitality and / or hotel distribution or revenue management will be highly regarded.
Experience working with go to market teams and ability to understand the drivers of sales.
Proven ability to collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional stakeholder group and influence commercial outcomes at all levels, utilising an open and effective communication style.
Pragmatic, can-do approach to solving problems - comfortable working with unfamiliar concepts, identifying levers that can move the outcome, and working cross-functionally to develop and implement solutions
Strong analytical and communication skills - comfortable both interrogating datasets for insights, as well as communicating these effectively to senior leadership
Excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment; exceptionally comfortable with ambiguity and decision-making in the absence of perfect information, and comfortable communicating with executives on a high profile program
