Indiana Certified Coding Expert

A company is looking for a RCS-CPT Coding Expert.

Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and timely clinical data for billing and reimbursement

Perform physician coding, outpatient facility coding, and address pre-bill coding edits

Rectify coding-related denials

Required Qualifications

Certified Medical Coder Professional, AAPC or AHIMA Certified

Cardiology coding experience preferred

High School Diploma or equivalent; RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, COC, or CPC credential required

Ability to read, understand, and interpret medical records

Experience in physician coding, facility coding, or pre-bill coding edits may vary
