Manager, ABX Operations
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, this role will help shape both the current and future state of ABX at Okta through translating ABX strategy into scalable, high-performing operational realities. It requires an operations expert, not just a strategist, to optimize ABM workflows, align with business partners and KPIs, and work cross-functionally with Marketing, Business Technology, and GTM Ops. Ideal for someone who excels in collaborative environments, focuses on system design, and leverages technology for business growth.
As the ABX Marketing Operations Manager, you will be the technical and operational backbone for our ABX initiatives. Your core responsibilities will include :
- ABX Systems Ownership & Optimization : Serve as our ABX SME. Own, maintain and drive operational excellence in platforms like 6sense and Folloze. Design and maintain complex ABX workflows, ensuring seamless connections between technology, data, and execution.
- Personalization : Define and implement strategies for platform-agnostic personalization and user journeys, analyzing data and use cases from our MarTech tools to enhance targeted ABM experiences.
- Data and Governance : Partner with Business Technology to enhance Salesforce and other GTM systems for ABX account framework and data quality. Collaborate with the Marketing Data Ops team to leverage key tools like Clay, Clearbit, etc to ensure data layers and governance support ABX data collection, transfer, and hygiene.
- Cross-Functional Enablement : Oversee projects connecting marketing workflows with data, systems, and technology. Work closely with Marketing stakeholders to translate ABX strategies into technical requirements, driving scalable business impact.
- Measurement and Reporting : Contribute to ABX-focused reporting and dashboards, ensuring trusted data and actionable insights sights for performance measurement and strategic decision-making.
What you'll bring to the role :
5+ years in Marketing Operations and MarTech management, ideally in B2B or enterprise software.3+ years specifically supporting ABM / ABX motions at scale.Deep familiarity with the tech stack and data structures for account-based motions, including segmentation, personalization, cross-channel orchestration.Proven ability to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions and operational processes.Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and systems-thinking mindset.Excellent collaboration and communication, with a track record of partnering with Business Technology, GTM Ops, and Marketing stakeholders.Direct experience as an administrator or key operational user of ABM-related software such as 6sense, Folloze, and similar tools.
