Head of Platform Engineering

A company is looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to lead the design, development, and optimization of a scalable and secure platform.

Key Responsibilities

Lead platform reliability and site reliability engineering, ensuring uptime and implementing monitoring systems

Implement security practices and integrate DevSecOps to comply with standards like SOC 2 and GDPR

Enhance CI / CD pipelines and manage the development of the Platform team, including mentoring and onboarding new engineers

Required Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience in platform engineering, including cloud infrastructure and monitoring systems

Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time with strong accountability and collaboration

Ability to develop long-term infrastructure strategies aligned with business objectives

Experience mentoring high-performing teams and fostering a collaborative culture

Ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
