Marine Emissions & Compliance Coordinator Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Marine Emissions & Compliance Coordinator to serve as the vital link between technical data and operational execution within our maritime fleet. Marine Emissions & Compliance Coordinator Responsibilities
- Oversee the correct implementation and daily use of environmental data tools and platforms, including providing training and support to onboard and shoreside teams.
- Liaise between vessel operations, environmental teams, and technical departments to ensure accurate data collection and processing.
- Validate data integrity, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure compliance with relevant environmental and emissions regulations.
- Analyze vessel performance data to identify inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions to improve fleet performance.
- Generate reports and actionable insights to support operational decision-making and compliance objectives.
- Support emissions tracking, reporting, and audit preparation for international and regional regulatory frameworks, including EU ETS, Fuel EU, and IMO GFI.
- Collaborate with vessel operators and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with current and upcoming maritime environmental regulations.
- Assist in the development, updating, and maintenance of environmental operational plans and decarbonization strategies.
- Improve data interface systems and implement necessary updates to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Marine Emissions & Compliance Coordinator Position Requirements
Marine Engineer or Deck Officer certification with relevant operational experience.Proven experience with environmental data management and emissions reporting platforms.Strong knowledge of maritime environmental and emission regulations, including current and upcoming requirements.Demonstrated ability to analyze vessel data for operational improvements and compliance purposes.Excellent communication skills, capable of training teams and liaising with multiple stakeholders.Attention to detail and a high degree of data accuracy and integrity.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Physical ability to perform occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds) and other physical tasks as needed.Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship#LI-OnsitePandologic.
