Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Needed In Sterling Heights, MI Area !

Soliant, a leading healthcare staffing company, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Sterling Heights, MI area.

As an SLP with Soliant, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess patients' communication abilities.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation results to address speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.
  • Implement therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve communication skills, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing functions.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, educators, and caregivers, to coordinate patient care and ensure effective treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on speech and language strategies and exercises.
  • Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Requirements :

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Michigan.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and age groups is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
