Responsibilities
This position is responsible for serving as the managerial presence for the Beverage Dept. in managing all aspects of Beverage Service & Operations during assigned shift. The position will supervise the assistant managers and supervisors in their respective roles in observing team members for safe alcohol service, protection of assets and holding team members accountable for maintaining a high level of performance including the delivery of memorable sincere service.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to :
- Oversees interviewing, hiring, training, floor service, and operational responsibilities for the Beverage Department
- Focuses on bar operations and infrastructure of the Beverage Department
- Drives Team Member satisfaction with ongoing training and development
- Other assignments as directed
- Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
Qualifications :
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredAssociates or Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferredMinimum of 3 years of food or beverage management experience required, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word is requiredFamiliarity with Stratton Warren purchasing system and POS procedures on Info-genesis platform preferredMust be familiar with and demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible alcohol service for all casino guests through policies, procedures, communications, and on-going training to all team membersStrong acumen in managing beverage assets from inventory control, pour analysis, and pricing / purchasing specificationsExperience in high-volume beverage operations preferredExperience in casino and / or hotel environment preferredTeam-oriented and must enjoy working with and assisting peopleAble to exercise judgment on an independent basisMust be articulate and possess a professional appearance and demeanor, as well as ensuring appearance standards are maintained for all members of Management and hourly team members.Punctuality and meeting of deadlines is criticalActs immediately on all guest opportunities to ensure proper action has been taken.Proficient in the budgetary process in regard to analyzing data to forecast future fiscal results.Develop beverage menus and programming to remain relevant with industry trends and standards.Work Environment :
Duties and responsibilities are typically performed on the Casino Floor in a fast-paced, guest-smoking environment, with constant exposure to general public and excessive noise.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Qualifications
