Responsibilities
- Oversee best practices and improvements for audits
- Analyze complex accounting topics utilizing research tools
- Ensure an understanding of internal control deficiencies
- Train entry-level staff on internal control processes
- Generate financial reports and other client deliverables
- Formulate expectations and decide rationality of variances
- Direct the audit team and help execute audit procedures
- Identify audit risks and ensure quality standards are met
- Conduct an in-charge level review of the audit team’s work
- Monitor deliverable deadlines and mitigate roadblocks
Requirements
- 3+ years of audit experience
- Commercial industries background
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and SEC
- Understanding of the risk assessment process
- Knowledge of cash flow effects of complex activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- CPA is strongly preferred
