Job Purpose

The Cloud Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for driving cloud financial management and governance strategies across a multi-cloud environment. This role ensures financial transparency, cost optimization, and adherence to governance standards. The analyst will interpret and analyze complex cloud billing data, provide actionable insights, and support the organization in maximizing the value of its cloud investments while maintaining fiscal accountability.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• FinOps Strategy Development : Design and implement cloud financial operations strategies to optimize cloud spending and improve cost efficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Cost Management & Reporting : Manage the complete cloud cost reporting lifecycle, including accurate cost allocation, chargeback / show-back processes, and forecasting enhancements.
• Optimization & Efficiency : Collaborate with business and technical teams to identify and implement optimization opportunities, focusing on rightsizing, utilization improvement, and waste reduction.
• Governance & Compliance : Contribute to the creation and enforcement of cloud governance policies, including tagging standards, cost accountability, and infrastructure request management.
• Stakeholder Support : Provide expert guidance on cloud financial management practices, delivering insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Documentation : Develop and maintain documentation for financial and technical requirements, ensuring consistency and traceability across cloud operations.
• Continuous Improvement : Stay informed on emerging FinOps frameworks, cloud technologies, and industry trends to support ongoing process and performance enhancement.
