Southpoint Animal Hospital is located in South Durham, NC near Southpoint Mall. Our five veterinarians, along with a highly skilled team of nurses, technicians, and client care advocates, have proudly practiced the highest level of medicine while also providing excellent customer care for the last 14 years. We are a primary veterinary care facility that strives to deliver quality wellness and preventive care, progressive medical care, soft-tissue and orthopedic surgery, comprehensive dental procedures, laser therapy, and diagnostic ultrasound. Our beautiful hospital offers seven exam rooms (one dedicated to felines), a large treatment area, separate surgical and dental suites, digital whole body and dental radiography, ultrasound and therapeutic cold laser, in-house IDEXX and pharmacy, and a separate glass-walled ICU. We take pride in a work-life balance and this includes being closed on the first Saturday of every month and six major holidays as well as no boarding and on-call.

What Youll Do

• Lead and mentor the reception team, setting the tone for professionalism and teamwork
• Support client interactions, including coaching staff through challenging conversations
• Manage scheduling, huddles, and day-to-day hospital workflow
• Partner with veterinarians and technicians to keep appointments on track
• Oversee compliance, cleanliness, and hospital protocols
• Assist with onboarding, training, and performance feedback
