Job description

Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL:
  • Prioritize, schedule and complete machine service for customers
  • Prepare and submit documentation for efficient invoicing
  • Maintain company property for safe operation and maximum life
  • Efficiently manage business expenses to maximize profitability
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist in the establishment of the preventative maintenance schedules with customers
Education and Experience: REQUIRED:
  • 3+ years’ experience with industrial maintenance (or related military experience), to include troubleshooting
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc. REQUIRED:
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic principals
  • Strong diagnostics and technical aptitude
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Able to travel overnight at least 75%, at times
  • Superb Communication Skills with an emphasis on customer service
  • Strong PC and organizational skills
Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment characteristics described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Physical demands: This position is very active and requires frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing of ladders. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment: The noise level in the work environment can be loud occasionally. This is a high travel position.
