Shape Search Tool Expert

A company is looking for a Techno Functional Expert of the Shape-Based Search Tool.

Key Responsibilities

Leverage search tool capabilities and configure / customize tools to meet departmental needs

Deploy and integrate shape-based search tools within CAD / PLM / ERP ecosystems

Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and procurement teams to identify duplicate parts and promote standardization

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in CAD / PLM environments with expertise in search tools

Strong understanding of 3D geometry, CAD modeling, and file formats (JT, STEP, STL, etc.)

Experience with PLM systems like Siemens Teamcenter and Dassault 3DExperience

Experience in training engineering and procurement teams on the effective use of shape search tools

Engineering degree required
